Hurricane Season in Mexico (it was CRAZY)
The weather in Mexico can be glorious or gloomy depending on the day. Hurricane Season in Mexico runs between June and November, and since we were in Mexico from July to December, we got to experience most of the Hurricane Season. AND we had the added "bonus" of being in Mexico during the most active hurricane season on record. In this video, we covered how some of the storms impacted us in October 2020:
Tropical Storm Gamma (Oct 3, 2020) 1:26
Hurricane Delta (Oct 6, 2020) 4:09
Hurricane Zeta (Oct 26, 2020) 5:15
As we say in the video, don't let these hurricanes scare you! The weather is usually gorgeous in the Playa del Carmen/Cancun/Tulum area and most of the time a rainstorm comes and goes quickly, making way for beautiful weather the rest of the day. This was really just an odd couple of weeks out of the MONTHS of awesome weather during our visit.
